They pooled with water and some kind of red bacteria or algae started growing in the water. I only got the chance to photograph them after the red water had been dumped out.
The thumbnail almost makes them look human- not until I full viewed did I realize they were stone. I know the title, but I don't know if you have ever seen someones hands after they have been finishing concrete for the previous six hours- in case you haven't, they look like that. But yeah, I love the texture, and the red color ledt over from the bacteria.
